One of my favorite things to do this time of year is head to the Pumpkin Patch! This is our third year and this year we headed up into the foothills of East San Diego and went to the most adorable pumpkin patch. We met some friends there and even though it was sort of hot and full sun, the babes still had such a good time! I even broke out my boots for the occasion and paired them with my favorite Doen dresses.
I think my favorite part of our whole Pumpkin Patch trip was seeing a Bison up close and personal… those things are HUGE! I wish I would’ve snapped a picture! We ended up bringing home about 3 pumpkins and lots of the most beautiful indian corn I’ve ever laid eyes on. Easton’s favorite part was the tractor ride and I think Ev loved the sweet baby pig the most. She just kept saying “awww, baby pig wants her mama spider”, clearly we’ve seen Charlotte’s Web one too many times, haha!
We took our new Outback Trailer/Stroller with us and it was so perfect for navigating the dirt paths and through the bumpy areas of the pumpkin vines. The push is so easy and the cargo space was great for toting around all the pumpkins Easton kept picking! It’s a tad bigger than our other strollers but for trips like this where I knew we would have excess cargo, it was perfect! We’ve been using it mainly as a bike trailer so stay tuned to the blog to learn more about it and why I love it so much!
